Climbing up on Solsbury Hill
I could see the city lights
Wind was blowing, time stood still
Eagle flew out of the night
He was something to observe
Came in close; I heard a voice
Standing, stretching every nerve
I had to listen; had no choice
I did not believe the information
Just had to trust imagination
My heart going boom boom boom - peter gabriel

tick tick tick tick tick

Oh, it was a deep sleep. And I was not here. No Axel to appear. No comfort of his words or his touch. Just alone in the wind. And then Duncan came to me and took my hand.

"Are you ready for this?" His eyes burned like firey coal, and I thought he might speak of sorcerers and monsters, but he didn't. Instead he lead me to a cloud and thats where we rested far from earth.

"I suppose this is necessary." But I didn't see the point. I shuttered to think what sort of point he wanted to make. Was he afraid I didn't trust him? He was right. I didn't.

"Its easier this way. If we had more time I could walk there on foot, but believe me this is easier."

So I could feel the cold dampness in my face, the mountains around me gathering into a majestic realm of something almost enchanting. I bit my bottom lip. Was this really real? Blues, greens, hues emerged and took me in.

It was a beautiful place.

"Now what, drop city?" I was waiting for the bottom to fall out of the cloud.

"I will hold on to you, promise. I have nothing to keep from you." His finger gently touched my lips, and then I noticed the dragon's fire tattoo just below his ear.

"Who are you?" Some secret oath I'm sure he'd taken to reach this power.

"You know who I am. You just don't know what I am." He never smiled, and his dark eyes never blinked.

"Then what are you?"

And he pointed, there to the cave. Thats where the mystery kept its self.
