Climbing up on Solsbury Hill
I could see the city lights
Wind was blowing, time stood still
Eagle flew out of the night
He was something to observe
Came in close; I heard a voice
Standing, stretching every nerve
I had to listen; had no choice
I did not believe the information
Just had to trust imagination
My heart going boom boom boom - peter gabriel

"Everyday is a winding road

I get a little bit closer

Every day is a faded sign

I get a little bit closer to feeling fine "

We've watched the dove fly over the village. Hundreds of white dove escaping to freedom. I've seen the huge birds in the feast hall with all these sculptures of beautiful birds with cooked goose inside them. Zanna says peacocks don't make very good eating. I'm not sure I want to eat any of it. I'm pretty much stuffed on mushroom soup and baked bread.

I've seen some of the maidens ready for the dance too. I'm not so sure what will make it so special. The men from out of town, I guess.

Of course, I don't plan dancing, really. Only Axel insists we should attend.

"It might surprise you what the cat dragged in." He's so synical sometimes.

We watched the watery jousting. Afterwhile we all got wet. Hard to say who the winners truly were. Perhaps the oarsmen for all their work.

I don't know, its dazzling. The ego of those jousters. A part of me would have liked to have knocked someone's head off. But I cheered with the group. With ale all around, what else can you do but enjoy.
