Climbing up on Solsbury Hill
I could see the city lights
Wind was blowing, time stood still
Eagle flew out of the night
He was something to observe
Came in close; I heard a voice
Standing, stretching every nerve
I had to listen; had no choice
I did not believe the information
Just had to trust imagination
My heart going boom boom boom - peter gabriel

"i'm gonna rap that jack, sometimes.....get a hump in my back, sometimes..."

Things I hate

1. getting up at dawn and running down a mountain then back.

2. grit in my teeth.

3. someone who never thinks positive.

4. mind-boggling equations I don't even want to begin to think about.

5. trying to clear my head, have poise and pose in a geometrical line, all at the same time.

"I don't think you're relaxed enough," he says about my stature. Like I have time to be relaxed. I'm not a warrior. And beside don't they just use their head to butt someone in the end, anyway.

He says I complain so much. I beg to differ. I mean, there is so much to do other than play war all day.

There's the cooking, the cleaning. Oh, did I mention the hunting? Yes, I'm having to do that to now.

Its not exactly my dream to slay a bunny then skin it, gut it, and after all that, make a fire and roast it.

"There will be worse things," he promises.

That dragon. It keeps haunting me. We still need to go to the place he's only mentioned a time or so and fetch that sword. That sacred sword.

"You'll be ready, believe me, you'll be ready by then."

I hope he's right.
